With the help involving VLC 1. 0. 3 I would choose to extract audio from the DVD (the DVD has some nice songs) and ultimately want to use them an audio CD. I do not recognize much about VLC as well as video files but as well as that I would say the computer knowledge is beneficial.
I think I should have succeeded in using Advertising (Menu) \ Convert/Save …
in the new Windows that opens: Media (specifying the drive letter on the DVD drive) \ Convert/Save
in the new Windowpane that opens: Destination: specifying the name of the destination file using the actual respective file extension (both. flac,. mp4, or. mp3). Settings: Audio, either flac, mp4 or mp3 (practically nothing else checked). Start
The DVD drive learn to work a little however stops after checking a couple of positions on the the disk, VLC says “streaming” for the lower left corner, no video shows upward, the play bottom shows “pause” (therefore the video should play), the right hand part shows 00: 00/00: 00 with no development. The file that is generated is just 158 KB but on playing doesn't contain any sound (with the exception of maybe silence).
What am I accomplishing wrong, what is wrong? Thanx for your support,
HJStern
Background information:
The DVD is inside three languages, when I start actively playing the DVD, I am asked to choose one of many three, then a new menu appears, asking "Play", "Scene Selection",....
WinXP, Home, SP3, all current updates.
searched on internet and I found ,and I want to know if there is some freeware could do that.
To the board admin: I don't know if that is a general VLC or some sort of Windows problem, you may move it as you wish.
